An innovative marketplace application is being offered free to businesses, saving time and money, and helping them find best matched suppliers and service providers in the Mining industry.
Already thousands of Australian businesses have taken up the offer, including a number of government and large business organisations. In particular, organisations are using it to find service providers and suppliers when they don't need to run a tender (i.e. below $200,000).
The web based applications, available at http://www.ifindconsultants.com and www.iFindSuppliers.com, are provided free. Individual users get their own account, and from this can use a range of independent sourcing tools. The tools are focused on two key areas – finding industrial suppliers & getting quotes for industrial products; and finding consultants & professional services firms that match their specific needs.
It works like a magnet - attracting targeted results that mining organisations and businesses need.
"There are thousands of suppliers and service providers. People in business don't have time to work out who has the capability, experience, products or services they need. These tools make it easy" said James Leathem, managing director of Magnetized Markets, the Australian technology business behind the free online tools.
Suppliers and Service Providers within the mining industry can also access the application as a way of finding sales opportunities. There is no registration fee, and no advertising. Suppliers and Service Providers only pay an administration fee (referred to as response credits) when they find a project they want to respond to. With project values typically between $2,000 and $200,000, and the cost of submission from as low as thirty dollars, it is exceptionally good value and a low risk approach to sales.
"By providing a win-win sourcing and marketplace application, we are striving to assist all levels of business and government to be more efficient and get better business matching results. The fact that its free for buyers, and close to free for suppliers and service providers, is a bonus" said Mr Leathem.
Both applications were designed and developed in Australia. These are second generation tools having completed a successful ten month beta phase. They are now being used by organisations across Australia, USA, UK, and more recently in some areas of Asia.
